We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Surgical Instrumentation Technician to join our healthcare team. This role is critical in ensuring that all surgical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for use in medical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sterilization techniques, infection control protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
As a Surgical Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, packaging, and sterilizing surgical instruments and trays. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Your work will directly impact patient safety and the success of surgical procedures.
You will collaborate closely with surgical teams, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that all necessary instruments are available and in optimal condition. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to maintaining a sterile environment are essential qualities for success in this role.
This position may require working evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on the needs of the facility. Previous experience in a sterile processing or surgical support role is preferred, but not always required, as on-the-job training may be provided.
If you are passionate about supporting surgical teams and contributing to high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply for this vital role in our healthcare organization.
